Candied Pepper Pecans Recipe

- Sweet pecans with a peppery bite - very addictive!
Ingredients
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup corn syrup, light
- 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Ground Allspice
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 cup pecan halves
- 1/8 tsp Ground White Pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325ºF.
- Spray baking sheet with cooking spray. Combine corn syrup, sugar, salt, black pepper, allspice and white pepper. Add pecans; stir gently to coat. Transfer to prepared baking sheet.
- Bake pecans for 5 minutes; stir. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes more, stirring every 2 to 3 minutes.
- Transfer pecans to a sheet of wax paper. Separate nuts with a fork. Cool. Can be made up to 3 days ahead. Store airtight at room temperature. Delicious as an appetizer or in a salad.
